We can’t casually stroll into our local book store these days, if our local book store is even in business any longer. Many more of us are listening to audiobooks or reading on e-readers. While few authors can afford to bypass the sales opportunities of Amazon and its audiobook division, Audible, there are viable alternatives that are more supportive of independent book stores, and independent authors.
A new platform for purchasing and listening to audiobooks is Authors Direct, a website that allows authors to sell audiobooks directly to listeners.
